How does a PC build work?
We check the proposed parts for compatibility, agree assembly and setup work, then arrange drop-off. You purchase parts directly initially. Complex cooling, unusual cases or extensive testing may need a higher quote.
What happens to my files during a reinstall?
We agree data preservation or removal before work starts. Data transfer and backup work are separate from the £65 basic reinstall. Do not assume a reinstall includes data recovery or that an existing licence transfers to different hardware.
What does an update session include?
An agreed session of up to 45 minutes for appropriate driver and software updates. We use suitable vendor sources and check the resulting setup. Major application faults or work beyond the session are separately quoted.
Do you repair faulty hardware?
No. The service covers compatible component installation, PC assembly and software work. Board repair, soldering, damaged-component repair and data recovery are excluded.
How do appointments and extra work operate?
Drop-off is by arrangement; public appointment details will follow. If assessment identifies additional work, we revise the quote before proceeding. Parts and software licences remain additional.
