The foundation for your service
Hardware matters.
So does who manages it.
N7 Bytes selects upstream UK infrastructure and adds the service layer around it: configuration, management and a clear point of contact.
These are planned supplier platforms, not claims that N7 owns datacentres or physical server fleets. Ordered specifications are confirmed before launch.
Four services. Clear responsibilities.
Both shared hosting services use NVMe storage. Their panels and allocation rules differ.
| Service | Platform | Customer access | Server responsibility |
|---|---|---|---|
| Managed VPS | Ryzen · DDR5 · Gen5 NVMe | WebDeck end-user panel | N7 Linux and panel management |
| Self-managed VPS | AMD EPYC · Samsung NVMe | Root access | Customer operating-system management |
| NVMe Hosting | Shared NVMe · per-site limits | WebDeck customer panel | Supplier shared platform; N7 hosting support |
| cPanel Hosting | Shared NVMe · per-account limits | cPanel account | Supplier shared platform; N7 hosting support |

Supplier DDoS mitigation protects the relevant server platform. It does not replace secure website code, updates or an application-specific security review.
Backups need a defined retention period and a tested restore process. Supplier snapshots, hosting backups and independently operated copies are different arrangements, confirmed for the chosen service.
Resources explained.
A vCPU allocation is not the same as a dedicated physical core. Shared-hosting CPU and RAM values are enforced limits on a shared platform.
A 10Gbps upstream port describes connectivity, not a promised 10Gbps download rate for every customer. Storage includes the OS on VPS plans and files, databases and mailboxes on shared hosting.
Choose the right level of responsibility.
Start with a managed server if you want us to maintain the stack, or compare the other services for a different workload.
